Behind The Most Viral Sports Videos
And key insights behind starting and maximizing B2B Partnerships in Outdoor.
Starting Line
Another week of wide-ranging discussions from B2B Partnerships to the flywheel of Athlete and Creative Production. We talked to the team behind the most viral sports videos of all time today, definitely don’t miss this one!
The Value of B2B Partnerships
Michael Peters, Director of Corporate Partnerships for KOA, joins the podcast this week to share his perspective and experience around B2B partnerships. We talk about value exchange, growth vs credibility partnerships, and the best way to do cold outreach for partnerships.
Behind The Most Viral Sports Videos
Stu Thomson, Founder/CEO of Cut Media, joins Second Nature to talk about the way his creative and production agency works with athletes, and how that flywheel opens doors for everyone to produce their best work. Cut Media has produced viral sports sensations like Danny MacAskill's Imaginate (94M views), The Ridge (80M views), F1 vs Drone (24M views) and plenty more.

BPC
BPC stands for Brand, Product, Content: our favorite things that stood out in the past week.
On Tuesday’s podcast, Michael Peters came prepared with all three:
- Brand - Hest
- Product - Outdoor Element "Fire-biner"
- Content - Culture Is The New Leadership (Book)
Prenuvo Scan: Aaron had this done about a year ago and has been recommending it to everyone since then. It’s preventative care, where you get a full body scan, which you can share with doctors afterwards. Expensive, but insightful - especially after everything we’ve put our bodies through by this point.
Grand Slam Track: We covered this on a previous podcast, but Stu Thomson and his team at Cut Media are the ones producing the content around the series. Definitely one to keep an eye on!
Alpine Run Project: Another Cut Media project, this one is a unique story that involves UTMB.
Danny MacAskill’s Gymnasium: The only Danny video project we didn’t get to discuss during the podcast with Stu Thomson, but one of Aaron’s favorites. You’ll get a kick out of this one, even if you don’t ride bikes.
BONUS: Aaron’s SF Peninsula tourism project (that has been mentioned in previous podcasts) was released today. Go check it out!
Thank You
Thanks for listening to Second Nature this week, we hope you are enjoying (and sharing!) the podcast. Stay tuned for next week, we’ve got some interesting discussions up our sleeve.
