How To Create A Sport-Defining Film
The bar has been raised - and we can't wait to see what follows..
Starting Line
What would it take to reset the bar for a sport - or raise the bar so incredibly high that the rest of the people in your sport have to put in some serious work to try to catch up? Our good friend Eric Lagerstrom joins the podcast today to talk about everything that went into bringing this long-time vision to life. We hope you enjoy this discussion:
How To Create A Sport-Defining Film
Eric Lagerstrom recently released "Look For Things Where You Can Find Them" - a film that gave him the opportunity to share his perspective on triathlon outside the tape of a traditional race course. Not only did he achieve that, but he dramatically raised the bar for the entire endurance sports community. Eric Lagerstrom and Paula Findlay have been building a large community with That Triathlon Life (TTL) and this film was a project that Eric has been chasing for a while. We sat down for a conversation about the creation of the film, the audience reception, and what's next.
Seriously, Watch This Film
We spent an entire podcast talking about the vision, the strategy, the tactics and execution. Even if you’re not into triathlon, this film deserves a watch.

BPC - Brand, Product, Content
BPC is our closing segment, where we share new brands, products we love, or content that we’re excited about. This week’s episode was about a film featured in a previous BPC segment - expect that trend to continue in the future!
🚀 Foreign Rider: Eric Lagerstrom highlighted this brand on the podcast - the brand has been getting a ton of attention from outside the world of endurance sports, and it’s easy to see why.
🙌 Foreign Rider x TTL Collab: Foreign Rider collaborated with TTL (That Triathlon Life) to produce a lounge/travel/post-workout kit, which promptly sold out.
🚴 Yowamushi Pedal: What started as art because a boost to the cycling culture of Japan. Brands featured in the manga and anime series Yowamushi Pedal saw huge increases in sales and interest as a result from this unexpected element.
