Second Nature: Dylan Returns!
Women are riding Red Bull Rampage this year and we talked to a key force in the movement who is making it happen.
Starting Line
Dylan Bowman makes his triumphant return this week to the podcast, fresh from a big stretch at UTMB. DBo was smashing hours of trailrunning content while overseas, and in this week’s episode we break it all down - what worked, and what he should leave behind next year at the event.
Women Are Riding Rampage - Here’s How It Happened:
We are on the cusp of a meaningful inflection point in the world of mountain biking. For the first time in its 20+ year history, Red Bull Rampage will welcome an entire field of women to the event. This wasn't a snap decision, it came from dedicated people like Katie Holden, who worked with the brand, the event organizers, and the riders to create the momentum to make this a reality. In this podcast, we dig into the backstory of how this came to be - and we have an unfiltered conversation about the struggles and successes that eventually unlocked such an important opportunity for the sport of mountain biking.
UTMB: Brands And Athletes
Dylan is back from UTMB with all the stories to share about the event - and more specifically, all the brands and athlete stories from the week. We run through all the top brand and product launches, discuss the key moments of the week, and dive into Dylan's Extremely Scientific Top 3 Athlete Kit Ranking. Also discussed was the ambush marketing on display and some of the new brands that appeared this year at the event.

Brand, Product, Content
The North Face Campaign: We Play Different dropped, and it looks incredible. TNF is back in a major way, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what this next phase looks like for TNF.
Freefly Systems: We’ve called out multiple pieces of content in the past on BPC that were all shot by the Freefly system (drones, gimbals, etc) - now we’re actually shouting out the wizards behind all this camera magic. Give them a look!
Glue Guys Podcast: DBo brought this BPC to Friday’s pod - three guys who know a thing or two about being unsung heroes. Low stats but high value to a larger organization, and that’s sometimes the deciding factor for a team to win or lose.
