Starting Line
We’re cheering on Dylan as he lines up for the Mozart 100 this weekend! Since he’s in Austria, we have another guest joining Aaron on the podcast. This time, it’s Tim Tollefson - the force behind the mammoth trailfest. event. Rebecca Rusch said in a previous podcast that “if you want an incredible experience, go to an event run by an athlete.” We thought getting an athlete event organizer on the pod would be a great follow-up, and Tim shared everything he’s learned on his journey so far. The playbook he lays out is applicable to any sort of outdoor event, and we think you’ll find this useful if putting on an event is in your future!

Tim’s BPC: Chris Benchetler did a ski video in collaboration with Dead and Company for their run of shows at the Sphere in Las Vegas. The skiers donned light suits and filmed a ski segment at night to create some incredible imagery that surely melted a few people’s minds at this show. Here’s a link to the “Afterglow” video that came out as the original proof of concept.
Aaron’s BPC: Lael Wilcox is currently chasing the record for riding Around The World, which is roughly 18,000 miles. The current record is 124 days, 10 hours and 50 minutes. Lael is aiming to bring the record down to 110 days, which means that she’ll need to average about 170 miles per day. You can follow her journey here - or follow her journey on Instagram. She’s also doing a daily podcast, which you can find here.
