What Is A Content Residency?
And everything that goes into putting a content residency together...from scratch.
Starting Line
This week’s podcast topic has piqued the curiosity of more than a few friends - and after hearing about the concept, we needed to hear more about it. Taking inspiration from some individual brand approaches at major sporting events, Michelle Bates created a multiple-brand collaboration that opened some new approaches to content development.
Community Spotlight
Our love of printed magazines is well-documented, and our friend Abe Alkhamees from the Second Nature community is launching a new one. The Paperclip.cc issue one features 148 pages of incredible storytelling from around the world, including an article from Aaron’s trip to China. Pre-Orders are now open, until November 14th.
What Is A Content Residency?
Michelle Bates organized and executed a “content residency” in New Zealand, and it instantly caught our attention. Collaboration between multiple brands, athletes and creators, all in one of the most epic outdoor playgrounds on this planet. We had to know more about how this came together - and more importantly - where it’s going.
Job Of The Week
👀 Janji is looking for a Head of Operations in their Somerville, MA location.
👉 Kåduka is building a next level trail running platform and looking for a Founding Full Stack Dev who can work remotely.
Article Of The Week
Outdoor Media Summit brought hundreds of people together in Durango this past week, and before we even had a chance to shake off our jetlag, Jonathan Levitt had an article written about it! This is a great breakdown of the entire event, including all the top takeaways from some incredible sessions (and one fancy award that they handed out).
